I am a PhD student at Department of Finance, CUHK Business School. I graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree (Dean’s Honours List) in Computer Science and Statistics.
I was a research assistant at Department of Finance, CUHK Business School hosted by Prof. Darwin Choi, Prof. Zhenyu Gao and Prof. Wenxi Jiang.
Previously I worked as a research intern for Prof. Joelle Pineau (former VP@Meta AI Research) on machine learning at McGill University & Quebec AI Institute (Mila).
Research Interests
I’m broadly interested in finance and large language models (LLMs).
My research centers on developing and analyzing LLMs, particularly examining issues like lookahead bias in pretrained models and creating time-indexed training approaches. I focus on understanding how these models can be applied to financial economics, while also investigating their fundamental limitations and biases.
